GBI Management Team

The key to any successful industrial project is in finding the right construction team who can leverage their experience to safely deliver the project on time, under budget and with quality craftsmanship.  In addition to the principal personnel listed below, GBI employs some of the best project managers, fabricators, welders, fitters and superintendents in the industry. 


Scott Dahle, CSP

Safety Director   
Scott joined GBI in 2014 as corporate Safety Director.  Prior to joining GBI, Scott spent 7 years with CH2M Hill as regional Construction Safety Director, provided safety consulting services and most recently was corporate safety director for a division of Westinghouse.  He started his career with Nucor Steel as industrial hygienist after earning a B.S. in Industrial Hygiene and Safety from Utah State University in 1996. 


Keven Henrie

QA/QC Director    
Keven joined GBI in 2013 as corporate QA/QC Director.  Prior to joining GBI, Keven worked for a major tank fabricator and erector in production, management and for nearly 25 years as QA/QC Director.  Keven started his career with Chicago Bridge & Iron in 1981 after graduating with a Welding Engineering degree from Utah State University. 


Dan Clegg

President
Dan joined GBI in 2008 as President.  He began his career in the industry in 1988, and has worked in a variety of positions including welder, field engineer, project engineer and sales manager.  His project management experience includes several large shutdowns at coal-fired power plants, large mining projects and several high-nickel alloy lining projects and scrubbers.  Dan earned a BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Brigham Young University. 


Scott Kent

Vice President - Operations
Scott co-founded GBI in 2007.  Since 1985 Scott has worked in the industry in a variety of positions to erect tanks, silos, thickeners, precipitators, SDA scrubbers, stacks and on high-nickel alloy lining projects.  His project management and superintendent experience spans multiple industries including oil, mining, petrochemical, power, utilities, sand and gravel.


Jeff Murray

VP & General Manager - Rock Springs, WY
Jeff co-founded GBI in 2007.  He started in the industry as a welder in 1987 and has extensive field construction and management experience.  Jeff helped develop innovative welding procedures, with Lincoln Electric, for use on high-nickel alloy materials used in construction of scrubbers, precipitators and power plant ducting.   He has managed multiple projects including the erection of a C276 clad scrubber and two dry scrubbers.


Jamie Astle

Vice President - Business Development
Jamie joined GBI in 2009 as Sales Director.  He began his career in 1988 at Mechanics National Bank in Los Angeles, a leading provider of construction lending.  In 1994 Jamie began working in the tank construction industry as a VP of Sales where he forged extensive industry relationships with companies, engineering firms and general contractors.  Jamie earned a BS degree in Marketing from Chapman College.


Jesse Memmott

Vice President - Refining & Midstream
Jesse joined GBI in 2008 as a project manager.  Since 1999 Jesse has worked in the petroleum, refining and midstream industries as a welder, fitter, lead man, foreman and area supervisor.  He holds welding certifications in several alloys and processes, plate and pipe.  He earned an associates degree in welding technology from Utah Valley University and is a former welding instructor at Salt Lake Community College.


J.D. Oldham  

CFO
J.D. started his career in 1992 with GE Capital in their FMP program after graduating with a BS in Finance from the University of Utah.  He later earned an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania before joining DLJ and later Credit Suisse as a Vice President of investment banking.  Prior to joining GBI in 2009, J.D. provided strategic, operational and financial consulting to companies in the service and manufacturing sectors.
